About Passport Photo
You don't need a photo studio to get a passport-compliant headshot. Upload any decent portrait - ideally taken straight-on with even lighting - and the tool crops it to the official 35x45 mm ratio used by EU passports and most national ID cards, or the 2x2 inch format required for US visas and green cards. The background is replaced with clean white or light gray as authorities require. Download a digital file for online applications, or a print sheet with multiple copies at the correct physical size on 10x15 cm photo paper. Your photo is processed on the server and deleted immediately after the download is ready.

Available size presets
The current tool supports 35 x 45 mm for EU and many national IDs, and 2 x 2 in for US-style passport and visa photos.
DPI and print size
Outputs are generated at 300 DPI: 413 x 531 px for 35 x 45 mm and 600 x 600 px for 2 x 2 in. A 10 x 15 cm print sheet option is available.
Background and subject handling
The subject is cut out, placed on a white or gray background, and scaled into the target canvas. Even lighting and a front-facing portrait give the best result.
Limits and privacy
The portrait is processed server-side in memory and deleted after download. Very large images over the pixel guard are rejected.
Common passport-photo issues
Poor results usually come from angled faces, uneven lighting, cropped heads, similar foreground/background colors, or country requirements beyond the two current presets.
