The current converter writes JPG, PNG, and WebP. It can read common ImageIO-supported inputs such as JPG, PNG, WebP, and TIFF when available on the server.
Transparency handling
PNG and WebP can keep transparent pixels. JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are flattened onto a white background.
Quality settings
PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP use the selected High, Balanced, or Strong quality level.
Limits and privacy
You can convert up to 20 images in one batch. Files are decoded and encoded server-side in memory and removed after the result is generated.
Common conversion errors
Conversion can fail for corrupted images, unsupported formats such as HEIC in this environment, very large pixel counts, or a missing encoder for the requested output format.
